A 60 year old Biomedical engineer Vijaykumar Katti has grown a mini jungle in his two bed room apartment house in Mumbai which consists of 275 plus plants with seven different species. The room has high flowering plant to decorative to high in carbon absorbing plants and 17 bonsais created from cuttings of plants found on the road as well. He Initially began by bringing home plants that were neglected or dried. This biomedical engineer who began to get plants from around his residence and studied their needs or requirement during lockdown that gave him enough time to achieve what he wanted. It was in lockdown he has come up with his own kitchen garden with various vegetables by getting proper help he learned the technique to grow them. four months on. he is now not dependent on vegetable vendors.
